Quesadilla Pie

1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies 114 g
½ pound sausage, cooked, crumbled 227 g
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 480 ml
3 eggs, well beaten
1½ cups milk 360 ml
¾ cup biscuit mix 180 ml
Hot salsa

• Sprinkle green chilies in sprayed 9-inch (23 cm)
pie pan. Add layer of cooked sausage and layer of
cheddar cheese.
• In separate bowl, combine eggs, milk and biscuit mix
and mix well.
• Slowly pour over chilies, sausage and cheese.
• Bake at 350° (176° C) for 35 minutes or until center
sets. Serve with salsa on top of each slice.
Tip: To give this “pie” a little more zip, use hot sausage and a few
drops of hot sauce!
