Molasses Sauce:
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup mustard
juice of 2 lemons
zest of 2 lemons
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Refrigerate until ready to use.
