Chicken in Wine
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 chicken pieces
1 glass of red or white wine
2 onions, peeled and chopped
½ pint (300 ml) vegetable stock
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp oil
Pepper
Salt
POULTRY
Put the flour in a dish and roll the chicken pieces in it
until they are evenly covered. Heat the oil in a large
saucepan, then fry the onions for 5 minutes or until they
are golden. Add the chicken pieces and fry for another 5
minutes. Add the stock, onions, salt, pepper and of course
the wine, and simmer for 45 minutes.
