Breakfast Bake

1 pound hot sausage, cooked, crumbled .5 kg
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes 30 ml
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 240 ml
1 cup biscuit mix 240 ml
5 eggs
2 cups milk 480 ml

• Place cooked, crumbled sausage in sprayed
9 x 13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish. Sprinkle with
onion flakes and cheese.
• Combine biscuit mix, eggs and a little salt and pepper
in mixing bowl. Beat well with fork (not mixer). Add
milk, stir until fairly smooth and pour over sausage
mixture.
• Bake covered for 35 minutes.
Tip: To use this recipe for a brunch or morning bridge club,
just add 1 (8 ounce/227 g) can whole kernel corn,
drained, to make it a little heartier.
