Hot Tamale-Cheese Fiesta
2 (13 ounce) jars beef tamales with sauce 2 (370 g)
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup 280 g
2 teaspoons taco seasoning 10 ml
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Mexican 4-cheese
blend, divided 227 g
• Drain sauce from tamales into cup and set aside. Put
tamales onto plate and remove paper from tamales.
• Place tamales, side by side, in baking dish. Sprinkle
one-fourth of cheese over top of tamales.
• Combine ½ cup (120 ml) sauce from tamales,
mushroom soup and taco seasoning and mix well.
• Pour sauce mixture over tamales and cheese.
• Bake at 350° (176° C) for 5 to 10 minutes to heat
tamales thoroughly.
• Remove from oven and pour one-half of remaining
cheese over top and heat until cheese melts.
