6 carrots peeled and diced
1 small beet peeled and diced
1 large onion
3 celery ribs (stalks)
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 cups water
Put everything in a large pot, bring water to a boil, and then turn down to simmer until veggies are soft. Once that is done, put in a blender, and blend until its a saucelike consistently and serve.
